The Public Information Projects team in the House of Commons is planning to produce a new smartphone application about Parliament’s work, role and history and is keen to hear the views of smartphone users.

It is proposed that the app will primarily be for people visiting Parliament – whether to meet their MP, to take a tour, for work, or even just to see the buildings from the outside – as well as those who are just interested in finding out more.

The new smartphone app will be a pilot and is being produced as part of Parliament’s ongoing public engagement work by providing more information to visitors in a cost-effective way.

As part of the development of the app, the team are keen to hear the views of smartphone users about which apps work well and why, what people would like to know about Parliament and what they might expect from a mobile app.

The focus groups will be held on:

  • Tuesday 30 November, 6pm, Westminster

If you would like to volunteer to take part, please e-mail focusgroups@parliament.uk to register your interest.

Please include the date you will be able to attend and how you heard about this event. We will respond with further information.
