Adam Afriyie, Conservative MP for Windsor, moved a Backbench Business debate in the House of Commons on Thursday 2 December on the subject of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA).

Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) was established by the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 to move the Parliamentary allowances system in the House of Commons from a system of self-regulation to a system of regulation by an independent body.
