Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority
The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) was established by the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 to move the Parliamentary allowances system in the House of Commons from a system of self-regulation to a system of regulation by an independent body.
