Report on conduct of Baroness Goudie

On Wednesday 8 December, the House of Lords Committee for Privileges and Conduct published its report on whether or not any sanction should be recommended as a result of the Clerk of the Parliaments’ finding in relation to a complaint about Baroness Goudie’s expenses claims.
The Clerk of the Parliaments published his finding on 31 March 2010, following his investigation into the complaint. The House Committee endorsed the Clerk of the Parliaments’ finding, and took the view that the complaint and the Clerk’s finding should be referred to the Committee for Privileges and Conduct so that they could decide whether or not any sanction should be recommended.
