The Superannuation Bill received its third reading in the House of Lords – the final chance for members to change the Bill before its return to the Commons – on Tuesday 7 December.

The changes made to the Bill in its journey through the House of Lords were outlined by government spokesperson Lord Wallace of Saltaire. As no member tabled any amendments at this stage no further changes to the Bill were debated.

The Bill, which began in the Commons, now returns for MPs to consider the changed to the Bill made in the Lords and make any further amendments.
