Africa and the Middle East statement: 4 April 2011

Foreign Secretary, William Hague, made a statement to the House of Commons on Monday 4 April on recent developments in Africa and the Middle East.
Mr Hague updated the House of Commons on the humanitarian situation in Ivory Coast and told MPs that ‘Britain continues to play its part in the implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1973 to protect civilians in Libya’.
