Prime Minister, David Cameron, made a statement in the House of Commons at on Thursday 11 August on public disorder

The statement follows the recall of both Houses of Parliament from the Summer Recess in response to rioting and widespread public disorder in London and other cities.

Following the statement by the Prime Minister the House of Commons debated the issue of public disorder.
