Statement on Durban Climate Change Conference

Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Chris Huhne, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 12 December on the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Durban, South Africa.
Durban Climate Change Conference
The United Nations Climate Change Conference, Durban 2011, brought together representatives of the world's governments, international organizations and civil society. The discussions sought to advance, in a balanced fashion, the implementation of the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol, as well as the Bali Action Plan, agreed at Conference of the Parties (COP) 13 in 2007, and the Cancun Agreements, reached at COP 16 in December 2010.
