Prime Minister, David Cameron, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 27 June on the European Council.

European Council meeting

The Prime Minister updated MPs on the meeting of EU heads of state and government that took place in Brussels on Friday 24 June. The European Council met to discuss a range of issues including the European economy, Libya, Syria and Croatia's EU membership negotiations.
