Humanitarian and Emergency Response Review
The review was carried out by Lord (Paddy) Ashdown who led a taskforce of humanitarian experts from inside and outside government to review all aspects of how the UK Government responds to disasters and works with the international community to speed up the delivery of aid.
The review was published in March 2011 and made several recommendations for reform. The Government has published its response to the review. The review and the response can be found on the Department for International Development website.
