Urgent question on the Government's waste review

Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Caroline Spelman, responded to an Urgent question asked by Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Jamie Reed, on the Government's waste review.
Waste review
The Government launched the waste review in July 2010. The review looked at all aspects of waste policy and delivery in England including household and business wate and recycling collection arrangements.

Urgent questions
Urgent questions are asked at the end of Question Time. If something has happened, normally a matter of public importance, which an MP believes requires an immediate answer from a government minister, they may apply to the Speaker to ask an urgent question.
If the Speaker agrees, the question will be asked at the end of Question Time.
