Life expectancy and inequalities debated by MPs

Margaret Hodge, Labour MP for Barking and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee, opened a debate in Westminster Hall on Thursday 3 March on the subject of life expectancy and inequalities.
The debate follows the publication of the Government's response to the Public Accounts Committee Report entitled 'Tackling inequalities in life expectancy in areas with the worst health and deprivation'.
