Zac Goldsmith, Conservative MP for Richmond Park, moved a Backbench Business debate in the House of Commons on Thursday 12 May 2011 on 'fish discards' and the Common Fisheries Policy.

The debate focused on the role of the EU Common Fisheries Policy and the number of fish that are discarded into the sea as a result.
