9.30-11.00 - English for speakers of other languages

Heidi Alexander, Labour MP for Lewisham East, moved a debate on the future provision of English courses for speakers of other languages which received an answer from the Minister for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning, John Hayes.

11.00-12.30 - Childhood obesity

Mary Macleod, Conservative MP for Brentford and Isleworth, moved a debate on childhood obesity which received an answer from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, Anne Milton.

12.30-1.00 - Budget (Coventry)

Jim Cunningham, Labour MP for Coventry South, moved a debate on the effect of the Budget on Coventry which received an answer from the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Justine Greening.

1.00-1.30 - Larch disease

Neil Parish, Conservative MP for Tiverton and Honiton moved a debate on the effects of larch disease on forests which received an answer from the Minister of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, James Paice.

1.30-2.00 - Medical students

Andrew Smith, Labour MP for Oxford East moved a debate on funding for medical students which received an answer from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, Anne Milton.

Westminster Hall debates

Westminster Hall adjournment debates allow MPs to discuss issues of local or personal interest which rarely have time to be debated in the main Chamber of the House of Commons. MPs can discuss a variety of issues and receive a response from a government Minister.
