Annual energy statement

Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Chnage, Chris Huhne, made a statement in the House of Commons on Wednesday 23 November on the Annual Energy Statement.
Annual Energy Statement
The coalition agreement between the Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties stated that the Government would give an Annual Energy Statement to Parliament which would set out strategic energy policy and guide investment.
This was the second Annual Statement and the Energy Secretary also announced a consultation on secondary legislation to provide for the Government's green deal which will begin next autumn.
