Statement on gangs and youth violence

Secretary of State for the Home Department, Theresa May, made a statement to the House of Commons on Tuesday 1 November 2011 on the cross-government report into ending gang and youth violence.
Shadow Secretary of state for the Home Department, Yvette Cooper, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.

Ending gang and youth violence: Cross-government report
Following disorder in cities across England in August, the Prime Minister asked the Home Secretary to lead a review, alongside the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, into the growing problem of gangs and gang violence.
The cross-government report into ending gang and youth violence was published by the Home Office on 1 November 2011.
