MPs debate National Planning Policy Framework

Minister of State for Planning Policy, Greg Clark, moved a debate in the House of Commons on Thursday 20 October on the National Planning Policy Framework

National Planning Policy Framework

The Department for Communities and Local Government determines national policies on different aspects of planning and the rules that govern the operation of the system.

National planning policies are set out in new-style Planning Policy Statements, which are gradually replacing Planning Policy Guidance notes.

Communities and Local Government Committee
