Justice and Security Green Paper statement

Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Kenneth Clarke, made a statement to the House of Commons on Wednesday 19 October on the publication of the Justice and Security Green Paper.

Justice and Security Green Paper
On 19 October 2011 the Government published a Green Paper on Justice and Security. The Green Paper makes proposals on the way in which sensitive information is dealt with in the full range of civil judicial proceedings. It also considers options for strengthening non-judicial oversight of the security and intelligence agencies.
The Green Paper consulation will remain open until 6 January 2012. Further information can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
