Scotland Bill: second reading

The Scotland Bill had its second reading – main debate on all aspects of the Bill – in the House of Lords on Tuesday 6 September. More than 35 Members of the Lords took part in the discussion.

The Bill makes changes to the devolution settlement for Scotland and gives effect to the recommendations as set out in the Calman Commission report on Scottish Devolution, published in 2009.
