Westminster Hall debates provide MPs with an opportunity to debate local or national issues and to receive a response from a government Minister

11.00-11.30 Judicial scorecards

Philip Hollobone, Conservative MP for Kettering, moved a debate on the introduction of judicial scorecards which received an answer from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, Crispin Blunt.

14.30-16.00 Coeliac disease 

Gordon Banks, Labour MP for Ochil and South Perthshire, moved a debate on coeliac disease which received an answer from the Minister of State for Health, Simon Burns.

16.00-16.30 Wind farm development in Sedgefield 

Phil Wilson, Labour MP for Sedgefield, moved a debate on wind farm development in Sedgefield which received an answer from the Minister of State for Renewable Energy, Charles Hendry.

16.30-17.00 European Institutions

Priti Patel, Conservative MP for Wtham, moved a debate on Government policy on European Institutions which received an answer from the Minister of State for Europe, David Lidington.

Westminster Hall adjournment debates allow MPs to discuss issues of local or personal interest which rarely have time to be debated in the main Chamber of the House of Commons. MPs can discuss a variety of issues and receive a response from a government Minister.
