Winterbourne View hospital
A BBC Panorama programme on 31 May 2011 featured systemic abuse of patients within Winterbourne View, an independent hospital run by Castlebeck Care (Teesdale) Ltd.
The Department of Health published an interim report on 25 June 2012 as part of a review of events at Winterbourne View private hospital and a wider investigation into how the health and care system supports vulnerable people with learning disabilities and autism.
