Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 6 February on Syria.

The Foreign Secretary updated the House of Commons on recent events in Syria and efforts at the United Nations to pass a draft resolution proposed by the Arab League.

Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Douglas Alexander, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.
