MPs held the fourth day of debate on the Queen's Speech on Tuesday 15 May 2012, which was on the subject of foreign affairs and international development
Debate on the Address: Day 4
Following the first day of general debate on the Queen's Speech, there are five days of debate on specific topics. On the fourth day of debate MPs discussed foreign affairs and international development. MPs will debate the cost of living on Wednesday 16 May and jobs and growth on Thursday 17 May.
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague moved the debate on behalf of the government. Shadow Secretary of State for State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Douglas Alexander responded on behalf of the Opposition.
