Andy Sawford of the Labour Party has become Member of Parliament for Corby after winning the by-election held in that constituency on 15 November 2012

The Corby by-election was called after the former MP, Louise Mensch, was appointed to the office of Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead - the means by which an MP disqualifies themselves in order to resign.
By-election result
Turnout was 44.78 per cent.
