Secretary of State for the Home Department, Theresa May, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 12 November on the court ruling about Abu Qatada

The Home Secretary announced that the Government would seek leave to appeal against the ruling by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission, that upheld Abu Qatada’s appeal against his deportation.
