Secretary of State for the Home Department, Theresa May made a statement in the House of Commons on Tuesday 16 October on the case of Gary McKinnon and the Government’s response to Sir Scott Baker’s review of the UK's extradition arrangements
Extradition arrangements
In September 2010, the Home Secretary commissioned a review into the United Kingdom's extradition arrangements. The review undertaken by Sir Scott Baker was published in October 2011.
Shadow Secretary of State for the Home Department, Yvette Cooper responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.
