House of Commons rises for Christmas recess 2013

The House of Commons adjourned on Thursday 19 December for the Christmas recess. The Commons Chamber will next sit on Monday 6 January 2014.
Debates scheduled for the week the House returns include:
- Remaining Commons stages of the Water Bill
- Remaining Commons stages of the Mesothelioma Bill
- Backbench Business debates on Rural communities and Inter-city rail investment

A number of House of Commons Select Committee reports are due to be published over the Christmas recess.
Recess
