Prime Minister makes further statement on Algeria

The Prime Minister made a statement on Monday 21 January 2013 updating the House of Commons on the terrorist attack and hostage crisis in Algeria
The Prime Minister confirmed that three British nationals have been killed and a further three are believed to be dead, as is a Columbian national who was resident in Britain.

Hostage crisis in Algeria
On 16 January a terrorist attack on an oil compound took place in eastern Algeria. A number of people were taken hostage, including a number of British nationals.
