Statement on Mali

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mark Simmonds, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 14 January 2013 on Mali.
The Minister updated the House on the UK's limited support to the French military deployment to assist the government of Mali, including the assignment of two C-17 transport aircraft to assist in the deployment.
Shadow Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Office, John Spellar, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.
