Statement on South London Healthcare NHS Trust

Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, made a statement in the House of Commons on Thursday 31 January 2013 on the future of South London Healthcare NHS Trust.
Shadow Secretary of State for Health, Andy Burnham, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.

South London Healthcare NHS Trust
In the statement, the Secretary of State accepted a number of the recommendations made by the Trust Special Administrator including the recommendation that the trust be dissolved, with each of its hospitals to be taken over by a neighbouring hospital trust.
