Introduction of Lord Livingston of Parkhead

A new Conservative life peer, Ian Livingston, will be introduced into the House of Lords today (Monday 15 July)

Following a short introduction ceremony this afternoon Lord Livingston of Parkhead will be able to sit and vote in the House.
Lord Livingston of Parkhead is the current chief executive of BT and will become minister for Trade and Investment in December 2013, taking over from Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, as he retires from government.
