Lords All-Party Group pass review
6 June 2013 (updated on 6 June 2013)
The Lord Speaker has written to members of the Lords who chair All-Party Groups (APG) to request that they confirm that any passes they have sponsored comply with existing rules
The Lord Speaker is working with Black Rod’s office to contact Peers and, until this process has been completed, no new APG passes will be issued.
All-Party Groups (APGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament, they are often referred to as All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs). They are essentially run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, although many groups involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.
