In the fifth day of debate on the Queen's Speech in the House of Commons, on Tuesday 14 May 2013, MPs debated aspects of the speech relating to the cost of living.

Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Edward Davey, moved the debate on behalf of the Government. Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Caroline Flint, responded on behalf of the Opposition.
