The House of Lords has today formally launched the Lords Digital Chamber, a new website designed to help the public engage directly with members, using a variety of social media tools

The Digital Chamber pulls together all the different social media platforms used by members and political groups in the Lords into one place. It means that whether they use Twitter, Facebook, YouTube or blogging sites, the public can see and respond to what members are saying in cyberspace as well as in the chamber.

Users can interact with posts directly from the website, creating new ways to communicate with members of the Lords and see their conversations in real time.

The Lords Digital Chamber can be found at www.lordsdigitalchamber.co.uk
