The House of Commons Terrace will be open for an event on New Year's Eve for the fifth consecutive year, raising funds for the charity 'Make Some Noise' (formerly known as 'Help a Capital Child').

The event will be open to Members of both Houses and Parliamentary staff, and their guests, with proceeds going to 'Make Some Noise'. Last year, the event raised more than £6,000 for 'Help a Capital Child'.

The event does not incur any cost to the taxpayer.

The 'Make Some Noise' campaign supports disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. These youngsters may be affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.
