House of Commons rises for Christmas recess 2014

The House of Commons adjourned on Thursday 18 December for the Christmas recess. The Commons Chamber will next sit on Monday 5 January 2015.
Debates scheduled for the week the House returns include:
- Report stage and third reading of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Bill
- Backbench business debates on a motion relating to higher education funding and a motion relating to Gibraltar
