Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Owen Paterson, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 6 January 2014, on flooding in the UK over the Christmas and New Year period. Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Maria Eagle, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.
