House of Commons rises for summer recess 2014

The House of Commons adjourned on Tuesday 22 July 2014 for the Summer recess. The Commons Chamber will next sit on Monday 1 September 2014
Debates scheduled for the week the House returns include:
- Backbench Business debates on Hospital car parking charges, the Position of Hazaras in Afghanistan and Pakistan and the Regulation of the sale of puppies and kittens
- Second reading of the Pension Schemes Bill

A number of House of Commons Select Committee reports are due to be published over the summer recess.
Recess
