Lords debates organic food

Members of the Lords, including the president of the Royal Society for Public health, a former Lords spokesperson for DEFRA and a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, will discuss the health benefits of organic food, on 24 July.

This is a topical question for short debate in the Lords. Introduced in October 2013, they take place on a Thursday in the Lords chamber and last for around 60 minutes. During debates, Lords are able to put their experience to good use, checking and challenging the government.

The debate was requested by Lord Taverne (Liberal Democrat). Speakers expected to contribute include:
