The Home Secretary, Theresa May, made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 7 July 2014 about the sexual abuse of children, allegations that evidence of the sexual abuse of children was suppressed by people in positions of power, and the Government’s intended response.
Shadow Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.
