Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan, made a statement in the House of Commons on Tuesday 22 July 2014 on the report into allegations concerning Birmingham schools arising from the so-called Trojan Horse letter. Shadow Education Secretary, Tristram Hunt, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.

Birmingham schools: Education Commissioner’s report
Education Commissioner Peter Clarke's report covering the findings of his investigation into Birmingham schools was published on 22 July 2014.
Mr Clarke was appointed on 15 April 2014 to review allegations that schools in Birmingham were being targeted by individuals wishing to push an Islamist agenda.
