Northern Ireland Secretary, Theresa Villiers, made a statement in the House of Commons on Thursday 17 July 2014 on the report of the Hallett Review. Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Ivan Lewis, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.

Report of the Hallett Review published

Lady Justice Hallett was appointed in February 2014 to produce a full public account of the administrative scheme for so-called 'on-the-runs'.

The Government today laid in Parliament the report from Lady Justice Hallett’s review of the 'on-the-runs' (OTRs) administrative scheme.
