Prime Minister David Cameron made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday 21 July on the loss of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine, and the ongoing crisis in Israel and Gaza.

Shadow Deputy Prime Minister, Harriet Harman, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition, as Labour Leader Edward Miliband is in the United States of America.

On 17 July 2014, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine with 298 people on board, including 10 British nationals.
