Voluntary and charitable sectors on Lords agenda

Members of the House of Lords, including volunteers, chairs, trustees and presidents of charities spanning wide-ranging causes, debated the important role played by the voluntary and charitable sectors on Thursday 26 June.

This was a general debate, which take place on a Thursday in the chamber. During debates, members are able to put their experience to good use, debating public policy and drawing the government's attention to concerns.
