MPs debated draft Criminal Justice and Data Protection Regulations

MPs debated a motion to approve the draft Criminal Justice and Data Protection (Protocol No. 36) Regulations 2014 in the House of Commons on Monday 10 November 2014.
The debate was opened by the Home Secretary, Theresa May. The Shadow Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, responded on behalf of the Opposition.
The Shadow Home Secretary moved a motion that the Question to approve the draft Criminal Justice and Data Protection (Protocol No. 36) Regulations 2014 be not now put. The House voted against the motion (Division 78, Ayes 229, Noes 272).
The motion that the draft Criminal Justice and Data Protection (Protocol No. 36) Regulations 2014 be approved was agreed on division (Division 79, Ayes 464, Noes 38)
