Parliament to hold event in Leeds on International Development

The Houses of Parliament's Outreach Service is to hold a free event in Leeds on Thursday 9th October 2014 focusing on how people can engage with Parliament on international development issues.
Held in partnership with Leeds Beckett University, the event will give attendees practical and useful information on how to work with politicians on international development and provide an opportunity to debate related issues.
Speakers include
- Fabian Hamilton - MP for Leeds North East and member of the House of Commons International Development Committee
- Oriel Kenny - Leeds Metropolitan University
- Louise Martin - Presenter of 'On the Agenda' BBC Radio Leeds
