Both Houses of Parliament were recalled from recess for one day on Friday 26 September to discuss developments in Iraq.
Further information
If there is an important development during a recess period, the House of Lords and the House of Commons may be recalled.
The House of Lords was last recalled during recess on 29 August 2013 following the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria.
