MPs debated motions to approve reports relating to the Police Grant and Local Government Finance in the House of Commons on Tuesday 10 February 2015.
Police
The Minister for Policing, Criminal Justice and Victims, Mike Penning moved a motion to approve the Police Grant Report (England and Wales) for 2015-16. The Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, Jack Dromey responded on behalf of the Opposition.
The motion to approve the report was agreed on division. (Division No 150: Ayes 285 votes, Noes 212 votes)

Local Government Finance
The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Kris Hopkins, opened the debate. The Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Hilary Benn responded on behalf of the Opposition.
The motion to approve the Local Government Finance Report (England) 2015-16, was agreed on division. (Division No 151: Ayes 286 votes, Noes 190 votes)
The motion to approve the Referendums Relating to Council Tax Increases (Principles) (England) Report 2015-16 was agreed on question, without a vote.
