As a mark of respect for those who died in Tunisia last week, Parliament will join government departments, military bases and embassies in lowering the Union Flag to half-mast on 3 July.

As announced by the Prime Minister on Monday 29 June, a national silence of one minute will be held at midday. Members, Members’ staff, staff of both Houses and visitors to the Parliamentary Estate will be invited to join in this act of remembrance.
