King of Jordan visits House of Lords

King Abdullah II of Jordan visited the House of Lords today and met with the Lord Speaker, Baroness D'Souza.
The King attended a roundtable meeting with Parliamentarians chaired by the Lord Speaker. Matters discussed included security and stability issues in the Middle East, prospects for the Jordanian economy and the humanitarian issues caused by the conflict in Syria.
