2015 Budget debate on jobs, pensions and savings

MPs concluded the debate on the 2015 Budget, on the subjects of jobs, pensions and savings, in the House of Commons on Monday 23 March 2015.
Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Iain Duncan Smith, opened the debate on behalf of the Government. Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Rachel Reeves, responded on behalf of the Opposition.

Budget debates
The debates following the 2015 Budget statement continued on Friday 20 March 2015 and will conclude on Monday 23 March 2015.
Each day of debate will focus on a different policy area:
- Thursday: Business
- Friday: Local growth
- Monday: Jobs, pensions and savings
At the end of the debate the Commons will be asked to approve a series of Ways and Means Resolutions. Generally the House will vote on a selection of these Resolutions.
